About Jaime Jackson (Thadai)
Bio
Jaime Jackson, a proud member of the Gila River Indian Community, was born in Phoenix, Arizona. He is an accomplished multidisciplinary artist who works with aerosol, charcoal, graphite, video, audio, and digital media. His art explores themes deeply rooted in the Akimel O’otham (Pima) people, as well as personal narratives and broader cultural connections.
Currently pursuing a degree in Animation and 3D Modeling at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, Jaime is dedicated to using his skills to amplify the visibility of his community and its stories. Through his creative work, he strives to preserve tradition, inspire future generations, and foster a greater understanding of Indigenous identity.
